Hello Friends,
I am embarrassed that it has taken me so long to write a post.  Summer flew bye as we were busy with 3 boys in baseball, a crazy puppy, and a hubby who loves to coach, and a Wedding Flower business.  I am sad that we are already 3 weeks into school.  Everyone has adjusted and I am actually getting caught up on website, blogs and tweets.  I have decided to put an entry in my calendar once a week to post!  So you will all be hearing from me alot more often!  :)

Wanted to share a few new happenings here at Saucy Girl.  We have added a bunch of new products and are testing them at the Farmers Markets and a couple other Markets in the next upcoming weeks.  Gearing up for Art Harvest in Cedarburg, Wi and our large Holiday event in Elkhart Lake at the Osthoff Resort, called The Olde World Christmas Market.  Check out our website for more details.

We have added to our line, Baby Bibs, Burp Rags, Scrags (kitchen scrubbies embroidered into a kitchen rag), adorable tea towels, Tooth Fairy Pillows, Wine Bags and a few new, fun, Handbags.  Check out the site for those too.

Here are some fun pics that I took of the new products.  Enjoy and see you next week!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentines Day!

Its hard to believe that January is over and February is here.  Valentines Day used to be my favorite little surprise holiday during winter.  I always loved sticking little notes in my friends lockers and I always patiently waited until I received one back, hopefully from a secret admirer!  In high school we used to have a fun day where you could purchase a carnation and have one secretly delivered to that special someone!  So fun!!  I wonder if that is where I started down my love for flowers and floral design. Now, I look forward to my adorable hand scribbled love letters from my three boys.  I think I have every single one they have ever made!  Love Love!

Don't forget to send someone you love a little something special this Valentine's Day.  We have some lovely little treats on our site!
Hearts N Tarts aprons, In the Mood for Love and Tickled Pink are some of my favorites to give for Valentines Day.

This time of year makes me want to get out and start digging in the dirt and start planning my summer gardens and backyard renovations.  My list is growing and my husband is starting to have heart palpitations.  He sees the checkbook draining quickly.  Oh well, fun stuff!!

Our list for the business planning is growing too.  We have come up with some super fun ideas to add to our line.  Market bags, purses, baby bibs and fun accessories, tooth fairy pillows, kindle and nook covers and lots more.  I will keep you in the loop and show you pictures as we complete them.

Stay warm!
Regards,
Carmen

Stretch Yourself!

Stretch Yourself

As you envision the next year, let your imagination, not fears guide your aspirations.  Even if you stretch yourself to try something new but stumble, when you get up, you will be all the better for it.  Making mistakes enhances learning.  Trust me, I failed lots of times!  Don't fear being wrong - erring and learning may actually be the reason to take a chance!  Go ahead and try something new or something that you always wanted to do!

As part of my New Years Resolution, I am going to keep up with my blog weekly, start a Friday Inspiration board and keep up with a month newsletter.  I know, crazy, but still doable.  I am actually also trying to manage my time better as a mother, wife and business owner.  Being more organized is one of my heftier goals for the New Year!  My husband is actually quite happy to hear of the later!  No more late phone calls as to where one of kids was supposed to be a half hour ago.

Wishing you all a very wonderful start to the new year and good luck with your aspirations and goals for this year!  I would love to hear all about them! Please share.
